January 2nd Weather Update
This weekend was a beautiful weekend for the weather.  We had large passenger counts with over 700 on New years eve. A great time was had by all.

Today (Monday).  The winds are forecast to be strong Monday and Tuesday.  This is a perfect case where the published weather forecasts (for the seas in particular) or not even close to accurate.  The winds will be from the North and Northwest. This means the wind will be blowing across the land and even though the winds will be strong the seas will not have time to build. This is because our Operating area is only 3 miles off the beach.  The seas will be 1-3 ft in our operating area.

The forecast will predict 4-6 ft seas and even 6-9 ft seas. THIS WILL NOT BE THE CASE in our operating area only 3-5 miles off the beach.
