January 15th Update
Hello Everyone,

Boring is good....in weather.......The past 6-7 days have been light winds and seas only 1-2 feet. We are in a great weather pattern of very light and variable winds.  We have seen Southerly and Southeasterly winds less than 10kts daily. The waves have been 2 feet or less and the ride has been consistently smooth.

The rest of the week is more of the same.  Light south and southeast winds at about 10kts.  The waves will be about 2 feet from the east.  At this hour the 3-mile buoy is showing 2.6 feet.

Great week for anyone that has been contemplating checking us out....just do it! You will have a great time!

The Tides:  You will notice a larger than normal rise and fall of the "Tide" lately here at the Port....you may notice when we depart at 1100 am the water level is high but when we return there is about another 4-5 feet of rocks (and sea life)  along the shoreline exposed....

Tide: Is the vertical rise and fall of the local sea level. It varies literally in all areas of the world from more than 30 ft in the north latitudes to an average of 3-5 feet here in Central Florida.  Tides are caused by the gravitational pull of the Moon.....and to some lesser degree the Sun.....

More later...

Come Sail with us!
