May 16th 2014 Update

Today the winds will become Northwesterly 10-15 kts with a few higher gusts and the waves in our operating area under the shoal will be about 3-4 feet. There will be some motion experienced in the turns, but overall I expect a fair ride.

Conditions will remain fairly similar on Saturday with winds remaining Northerly at 10-15 kts with a few higher gusts. The wind and seas are forecast to moderate throughout the day on Saturday.

Sunday’s weather will also feature Northerly winds around 10 knots and seas around 3 feet.

It is no surprise yesterday’s planned Delta IV launch was scrubbed as that line of thunderstorms rolled through our area. The launch has been rescheduled for 8:03 pm tonight and the weather forecast is 90% favorable for a launch. The gloomy clouds we see this morning will have moved on by midday and there will be clear skies tonight. Come join us on the Victory 1 for one of the best viewing platforms to see this launch. We look forward to having you aboard this weekend!
